Ekklesia is the central focus of the SEWA ministry. Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it…” (Matt 16:18) Gospel had reached our land in the first century by the very own disciple of Christ Jesus. Although almost 2000 years have passed since then but still there are thousands of remote villages in our land where the good news of the kingdom has not reached. At SEWA it is our core belief that the “end will not come” (Mat 24:14) until all ethnos are reached by the Gospel. The responsibility that is laid on us by the Authority of Jesus as in Acts 1:8 is taken seriously to reach the uttermost remotest part of our nation with the Gospel.

We are venturing into pioneering new congregations in the places where it has not been yet started. We don’t go to the places where it is already crowded by the missions or churches, but risking our lives to go to the places where dangers and oppositions are expected. 2 Cor 4: 8- 12, ( 8. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11. for we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus ‘ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12. So then death works in us, but life in you. Our vision is to enlighten every soul with the gospel of Christ.

One night the lord showed him a vision of a village, during this time he was searching for a piece of land. One night in a vision God showed him a river which is flowing with water; lord brought him to the bridge and showed him the whole village which was green with the paddy field. God told him, ‘this is your land’. One day as he was searching for this piece of land, one of his friend directed him to this particular place, on his arrival to the bridge of the said place, again the whole vision came clear to him as a movie is replayed. He stood there on the bridge to see the whole replay of the vision again. And it was confirmed that this is the Promised Land village CHOTTEPUR

The urban areas are often seeing new congregation coming up but the rural areas are neglected altogether due to varied reasons. The reasons often cited are lack of schooling facilities for kids, no hospitals, not proper modes of transportation, lack of essential commodities; living standard is very low, lack of consistent financial and moral support. SEWA has taken up these challenges to reach the most unreached places of these kinds to rise up a Christ enlightened local congregations. SEWA wants to be an agent of change in these conditions. We are called to be the Salt & Light of the world.

Church being the bride of Christ it is the primary objective of the ministry to enable a holy and without blemish bride for the Lamb of God, (Eph 5:25-32), from every remotest part of the world.
